Milly and Lucy at the Play Ground

Milly joins Lucy in the playground. She tries to explain how to drive the train.

Lucy's First 2nd Birthday Party

It's Lucy's first party. Daddies familiy and a few friends are over. Lucy is thrilled to see Grandad.

Singing Club

Lucy, Dylan and Georgia are at singing club.

Lucy has a go at playing a mouth organ to help with the music.

Pink's Present

It starts to get chilly outside so we move inside. It's time to open the present from Pink and Doody.

It's in a big bag. Lucy tries to help open it up.

It's a great big box of Duplo. What a Lucy little girl.

Terrible Twos

It's Lucy's birthday. Aunty Pink has got her a special party dress.

What's this? Mummy and Daddy have got her some Sticklebricks. How exciting.

But the bricks are soon eclipsed by Panda!

Even more thrilling when she realizes that she has also got a Maisy Mouse. Due to a slight size misunderstanding when ordering Maisy and Panda they are in opposite proportions to the books but Lucy doesn't seem to mind.

Other presents include the heart rending I Love You Blue Kangaroo book. Although Lucy insists on calling it Bwu Tangaroo.

Barnes Pond

Lucy has gone for a trip to Barnes pond where she can say hello to her friends the ducks.

Time for a sit down.

Uncle Doody and Lucy have a Ball

Uncle Doody came up with a great game. Playing with Mummy's Swiss Ball. At first glance it would seem to be way too big for a 2 year old to be playing with but it works fine.

They start off rolling the ball to each other.

Then they get more advanced and Doody throws the ball and Lucy has to chase it.

Lucy has loads of fun. She loves this game.

Looks like Uncle Doody loved it as well.

Park

Lucy is having a go on the see saw.

Any modern girl needs to have a sophisticated set of wheels.

Richmond Park

Mummy and Lucy go for a wander in Richmond Park.

When Lucy was just a little fella she could be quite easily contained by closing doors.

These precautions are no longer sufficient!

The Apple Song

Clearly following in the footsteps of her famous author and mother Jennifer S Porter, Aunty Pink wrote a song called The Apple Song. Once Lucy had got bored of laughing at Pink's stripey hoodie, she requests a group rendition of the excellent song.

"Apple, Apple, Apple, Apple...

..Apple, Apple, A, A, Pul ...

...Apple!" (Yes Pink did write the words as well).

Pink's Gifts

Aunty Pink and Uncle Doody have just got back from Holiday. Despite Pink's expression it was Tenerife not China. They got Lucy this wonderful spotty dress.

Daddy is firmly of the view that wearing Crocks when you are over eight years old should be an imprisonable offence. Fortunately that makes their other gift of a pair of flowery sandals acceptable for the time being. Of course Lucy loves them.

Down the Pub

Lucy and Jonathan have popped down to Ye White Hart to watch the "Head of the River" race which is held on the Thames between Putney and Mortlake each year (a similar course to the Boat Race). Jonathan's father is taking part. Lucy doesn't appear to be paying much attention to the race.

She just wants to look cute.

Chase Me

Lucy's cousin Jonathan is down from Shrewsbury. They play chase in the empty pond in the park. Lucy obviously wants to keep her stick.

Lucy's Camera

When Lucy sees Mummy or Daddy using anything interesting (Remote Control, Mobile Phone, iPod etc.) she always wants to commandeer it for her own nefarious purposes. This normally involves her smearing banana over it and the reluctantly giving it back. This was a particular problem with Daddy's camera since a) Banana does little to improve the performance of camera lenses and b) we couldn't take pictures of her being cheeky. The solution was obvious. We have given Lucy my old camera.

The problem now is that she just takes pictures of herself from a range of about 1 foot.
