Natural History Museum

Mummy and Lucy are visiting the Natural History Museum. For Christmas they have a fun fair and an Ice Rink outside.

This ice skating is easy.

Cor Blimey! That was close.

Think I'd better just shut my eyes.

Far safer with killer whales and dolphins.

Woolly Stig?

Some say She can eat 3 Opel Fruits in one go; and that She thinks that is her five a day. It's his cousin from primary school. All we know is She is called the Woolly Stig.

Future's so bright, gotta wear shades.

You cannot resist the power of The Dark Side, Bring me cherry tomatos.

Balloons

Christmas Time wouldn't be Christmassy without a trip round to Whitton Towers to see Aunty Pink and Uncle Stewby's tree.

As a special treat Stewby has purchased some special balloons for making Balloon Animals. Stewby assures us that it is very simple to make animals and in point of fact, he is quite the expert.

He starts of by fashioning Lucy this lovely hat that would not look at all out of place at Ascot.

I think even Stewby would get into Ladies day with His fine invention

"... and do you know Aunty Pink, I don't Stewby can really do balloon animals ..."

Hush your mouth little one! Look at this fine greyhound Stewby has fashioned with his own hands.

Lucy, Mummy, Great Nanny and Aunty Jill. Pretty cool to have 4 generations covering the thick end of a century all on the same sofa.

Daddy gets in on the action.

Christmas Giving (and recieving)

Lucy is opening her first present. It's a dolly that Lucy immediately christens Annabel.

As with all dolls - Lucy starts stripping Annabel.

She's not satisfied until Annabel is down to her underwear.

Look at this huge bag of presents.

Wow! A Microscope. That will certainly help in Lucy's scientific experiments.

And a brilliant new stripy jumper.

Gosh! Lucy's favorites. Play People.

This looks like a very big interesting box.

Cor blimey! A magnificent Play People pirate ship.

Lucy tries Aunty Pink's new monster slippers on for size.

They also work quite well as gloves.

Aunty Sue looks very fetching in her new Panda hat.

Mummy loves her new Nug suit*.

Uncle Stewby receives an alarm for his beloved shed. A properly manly gift.

Pink has monster feet.

Daddy and Daughter.

Jonny and Angry Pink.

After all that generosity and excitement it is good to round off Christmas day with a bit of a buffet tea and some C.S. Lewis on the TV.
