The Millhouse

Looks like Jonny has smartened himself up a bit to visit the excellent "Millhouse" restaurant in Skidby near Hull. Lucy is very interested in her individual portion of butter.

Jonny attempts to keep his composure while Pink witters on about herself.

Uncky Kev and Aunty Sue are being entertained by Lucy.

Birthday (almost) boy Grandad is having a laugh with Stewby.

Lucy is fascinated by Mummy's meal of mussels and insists that she try one. To every ones surprise she loves them. More evidence that like perennial favorites manchego and smoked salmon, Lucy is a little lady with expensive tastes. Watch out boys, she isn't going to be a cheap date!

Lucy turns round to find someone has airburshed Jonny's face. He looks almost as mahogany as Aunty Pink.

Cheers!

Uncle Col is enraptured by Aunty Tissy's erudite articulation

Grandma and Stewby are less enraptured.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree

Tissy shows Grandma and Pink some photos. Grandma is trying to figure out where the film goes.

Lucy decides to help herself to some of Aunty Sue's dinner

Lucy realises that The Millhouse is a bit of posh so she raises her little finger

Christmas Dinner

It's Christmas Day. Mummy, Grandad and Lucy are waiting to go out for Chritmas Dinner.

Aunty Pink and Mummy are getting into the Christmas spirit. Especially Aunty Pink.

Gramdma shows Uncky Kev how good she is at the hand jive.

Aunty Tiss is stunned by the display.

Lucy finds a new use for party poppers.

Grandma continues her hand jive tutorial

Lucy: "My cats got no nose". Jonny: "How does he smell?"

Lucy: "Like a bottom!"

Later in Leeds

Lucy is having a lovely spread out tea back at Aunty Sue and Uncle Kevs

Then work off some of that dinner with a ride on Jonny's old red train.

Then a nice cuddle with Grandad

Followed by attaching herself limpet like to her "favorite boy" Jonny

Then a nice story from Grandma

Aunty Tiss was there as well but somehow managed to avoid having her photo taken with Lucy. Not deliberately mind you, her child phobic reputation is not backed up by the evidence

Jonny's 18th Birthday

It's cousin Jonny's 18th birthday so everyone has come to his house to celebrate

Lucy has managed to get hold of one of the rather fine birthday balloons

There is suddenly a rush of excitement to the side, Grandad and Lucy look to see what it is.

It's Uncle Kev with Jonny's birthday cake

Jonny prepares to blow out the candles whilst an elderly paparazzi tries to capture the moment.

Lucy has certainly captured Jonny

But not for long. Jonny gets tickling Lucy's feet

Then Jonny reads Lucy a story about wild boars

Lucy listens with Pluto, who was one of Jonny's friends when he was Lucy's age

Just before going to bed Grandad reads Lucy one last story

The Deep

Mummy, Daddy, Grandma and Lucy are joined by Aunty Sue and Jonny at the famous The Deep submarium in Hull. First order of events was to get some food at the canteen. Lucy insisted on sitting next to her cousin. Lucy has fish and chips.

There were plenty of fish to look at as well as eat.

And a Lucy sized Hampster?!

Mummy helps Lucy check out some modern light weight diving equipment

Outside The Deep is the Humber Estuary

Beverley

Lucy takes a little breather during a hearty walk on Beverley Westwood, a place made famous by being the birthplace of Daddy*

Down in one of the dells on the Westwood. Note that Mummy is wearing Lucy's NYPD hat which was a gift from Aunty Tissy. It fits Mummy despite being for a 3 year old.

Mummy, Lucy and Grandma stroll the streets of Beverley after a fruitless hunt for legendary Burgess Icecream.

Fortunately an alternative supplier is found. Not as good though.

Bookcase

Lucy is standing next to her lovely new bookcase that was a present from her Grandma and Grandad.

It goes rather well in her pink bedroom.

Boat Race 2010

Lucy has invited some friends round for a Boat Race party. Jonny is unimpressed by Stew's rabbit impression.

Pink is unimpressed as Grandma starts an anecdote. Oh the irony.

Any body language experts will be able to decipher how well it is going down with Grandad and Jonny.

Lucy tries to remind everyone that we are meant to be watching the race as Milly dresses Aunty Pink up in the entire contents of Lucy's dressing up box.

It's actually an improvement on what she was wearing when she arrived.

In order to keep discipline the more rowdy members of the audience are kept caged at the back of the room.

"I'll have ten quid each way on Roehampton University"

Si struggles to look cool while being forced to wear a blanket

As you would expect, Unkey Kev enters into the spirit.

Upsy Daisy and Grandad relax after the race. Turns out some toffs from Oxbridge won.

Grandma prepares to have a dance on the thames bank

Sue and Kev see the funny side

Pink tries to look serious. Fails.
