Return to The Millhouse

Every one loved The Millhouse so much that we have all come back the following day for Lunch

Lucy enjoys a beverage

Lucy does a bit of drawing while she waits for her food

Grandad wishes he was sitting next to Stewby again because then he could get a word in

Following yesterdays discovery, Lucy decides to order a full plate of mussels.

She has even mastered the ability that sophisticated mussel munchers use to grab a mussel by using another mussel shell.

The Millhouse

Looks like Jonny has smartened himself up a bit to visit the excellent "Millhouse" restaurant in Skidby near Hull. Lucy is very interested in her individual portion of butter.

Jonny attempts to keep his composure while Pink witters on about herself.

Uncky Kev and Aunty Sue are being entertained by Lucy.

Birthday (almost) boy Grandad is having a laugh with Stewby.

Lucy is fascinated by Mummy's meal of mussels and insists that she try one. To every ones surprise she loves them. More evidence that like perennial favorites manchego and smoked salmon, Lucy is a little lady with expensive tastes. Watch out boys, she isn't going to be a cheap date!

Lucy turns round to find someone has airburshed Jonny's face. He looks almost as mahogany as Aunty Pink.

Cheers!

Uncle Col is enraptured by Aunty Tissy's erudite articulation

Grandma and Stewby are less enraptured.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree

Tissy shows Grandma and Pink some photos. Grandma is trying to figure out where the film goes.

Lucy decides to help herself to some of Aunty Sue's dinner

Lucy realises that The Millhouse is a bit of posh so she raises her little finger

Presents

Lucy is a very lucky girl. She has got loads of presents for her birthday. Jonny, Uncky Kev, Aunty Tiss and Aunty Sue look at her haul with barely disguised avarice.

Lucy starts opening her presents

Wow! A train full of books

Can't go far wrong with PlayPeople. (Officially they are now called PlayMobil but we all know they are really PlayPeople. PlayMobil were only called PlayPeople in the UK in the 70s and 80s but since that is when Daddy and Aunty Pink grew up with them - they will be PlayPeople for ever - we will not pander to the croissant eating Euromonkeys)

It's also important to pretend to look at the cards to see who the presents are from before getting back to the good stuff.

Christmas Dinner

It's Christmas Day. Mummy, Grandad and Lucy are waiting to go out for Chritmas Dinner.

Aunty Pink and Mummy are getting into the Christmas spirit. Especially Aunty Pink.

Gramdma shows Uncky Kev how good she is at the hand jive.

Aunty Tiss is stunned by the display.

Lucy finds a new use for party poppers.

Grandma continues her hand jive tutorial

Lucy: "My cats got no nose". Jonny: "How does he smell?"

Lucy: "Like a bottom!"

Taylor Towers

Aunty Sue and Uncky Kev look on as Lucy plays with a big box of toys. Kev looks quite jealous.

Kev cannot resist the urge to join in. So now it's Jonny's turn to get jealous. But even though he wants to join in playing he is not really tempted by the kitchen based scenario.

Sensing that Jonny is feeling excluded, Lucy quickly finds something that will appeal to him.

Lucy is very perceptive. Jonny very much approves of her numerical skillz and can perhaps foresee her fulfilling some sort of accounting role in his inevitable Donald Trump like financial empire. Lucy is equally smart and can foresee sharing a ride in Jonny's chauffeur driven Micra.

Sympathy for Uncky Kev

Despite Aunty Sue's valiant defensive arm, cowardly gunslinger Lucy manages to shoot Uncky Kev in the back while he is putting his glass back on the table.

Lucy exhibits very little sympathy for her slain foe.

Shooting Stars

Lucy has opened her Christmas cracker. Inside there is a water pistol. This could be messy!

Everyone thinks it is very funny when Lucy shoots Jonny.

Daddy and Uncky Kev mock Lucy's marksmanship.

Big mistake! She has turned on them. Kev tries to save Daddy from a soaking. He fails.

Who is the next victim in Lucy's sights?

It's Grandad! That's a mighty dangerous target. Perhaps she should pick on someone smaller?

Yes - back to soaking her beloved cousin.

Mummy has to have a serious word with Lucy. Please stop soaking everyone.

Face. Bovvered? Do I look bovvered?

She's Behind You!

I'm behind you bellows Lucy to Uncky Kev.

And indeed she is. With her little bear friend and Upsy Daisy costume.

Lucy's First 2nd Birthday Party

It's Lucy's first party. Daddies familiy and a few friends are over. Lucy is thrilled to see Grandad.

Annty Tiss entertains Lucy by bouncing on the Swiss Ball.

Si is having a great time.

So are Grandma and Mummy.

Milly looks after Lucy for a bit.

Has Aunty Tiss been on the wine early? Is this the behaviour of a respected Librarian? Yes.

Uncky Kev requests permission to ask Jonny a question.

Aunty Pink regales everyone with an hilarious anecdote.
