Stonehenge

Lucy has come to visit Stonehenge since it is on the way to our holidays in Somerset.

Not sure she would have been so laid back if she had known that there were Cybermen and Daleks around

Not that "Super Gerb" Mummy couldn't hold her own against Skaro's finest

And we were also there on the day before the Doctor Who episode The Pandorica Opens was aired, so I guess we just missed our Gallifreyan friend.

But even without the good Doctor, it was great fun. Although Lucy some what undermined the Majesty and symbolism of the henge by saying "It looks like fishy fingers".

A Family day out

Grandad Ray is looking after Lucy and Jonathan.

The cousins are very happy to see Great Nanny.

Grandad Ray give them a big cuddle as well.

Then everyone has a cuddle.

And this time with Mummy.

Snail!

Lucy found a snail in the garden. Aunty Niki helped her bring it in so she could look at it.

This was a pretty brave snail. He has really come out of his shell. (Don't forget to tip your waitress)

Perhaps we have a zoologist in the making. Despite the snail displaying Herculean bravery making friends with Lucy it did rather blot it's copy book when Aunty Niki carried it back outside. It pooed on her.

Jack-in-a-Box

Lucy and Jonathan have got hold of a Jack-in-a-Box. Jonathan winds the handle to see what happens.

Both the little characters are surprised. It is a monkey-in-a-box!

Lucy has a little dip to cool off after the monkey shock

Sorbet with Aunty Niki and Jonathan

Daddy and Lucy are having a laugh at Ask Pizza.

Jonathan is a bit tired. It has been a long trip down from Shropshire. So he has a doze on Aunty Niki.

He seems to have woken up now the raspberry sorbet has arrived.

Everyone is tucking into the delightful pudding. But only Lucy appears to be wearing it.

Lucy explains to Mummy that she is moderately fond of this dessert.

Shady Lady

Oh no! Uncle Matt has left his sun glasses round at Lucy's house.

Work the camera.

"I think I'll be keeping these*. Thanks uncle Matt"

* The glasses have been returned

Rabbit Face

Hmmm. Who let this rabbit chap into the garden?

Doh! It's Lucy.

Lovely day for a nice BBQ.

Aunty Pink shows Lucy how to eat a burger.

Redneck.

A Day at London Zoo

Mummy is taking Lucy to London Zoo for a day out. First thing is a trip on the Tube. Mummy asked Lucy what animals she would like to see at the Zoo. She said, "A frog, a kangaroo and a dinosaur".

When they arrive Lucy has a quick glass of orange to prepare her for the day.

This fine green camera will help Lucy record all her memories.

Lucy takes some snaps of the fish in the aquarium.

She is having a great time.

Then she gets to touch some of the exhibits in the hands on display.

Cheeky Monkey

Mummy and Lucy have a go on the Merry-go-Round

Then it is time for lunch. Egg and cress "sangwiches".

Time for a bit of bouncy castle action after lunch.

And of course a chance to get her face painted.

The parrots do not seem to have caught Lucy's imagination.

Will any wildlife get Lucy animated?

Of course, a hyper realistic faux lion and a lollypop.

Back on the train home and Lucy and her new Giraffe friend Carroty are getting a bit fatigued.

It has been a very long day.

Big Shoes

Lucy has found Mummy's new shoes. She looks very pleased with herself.

Next she finds Daddies trainers.

She doesn't seem as impressed. Look like Lucy is going to favour bling footwear like her Mummy.

Kew Gardens

Lucy and Mummy are in Kew Gardens. Lucy may appear like she is looking very demure wearing some brown lipstick but she is actually eating chocolate.

As she is happy to show anyone walking by.

Because it was raining, we decide to take a trip on the Kew Explorer Tour which takes us right round the whole of Kew with a running commentary.

It's never too rainy to have a swing.

Meercat! Simples.
