Mummy has taken Lucy to the Christmas extravagance at Kew Gardens

Snail

Lucy is at one of her favorite places. Climbers and Creepers in Kew Gardens.

She is also employing one of her favorite pastimes, which is chewing her hair. Mummy is not a fan of this pastime as she alleges that it leaves Lucy's hair "tatty".

Lucy appears unconcerned by these allegations. "You seen my Tattoos man? You know you're messing with the Donk?"

"If I wanna chew my hair, I chew my hair."

Venus Fly Trap

Lucy and Panda are learning about Venus Fly Traps at Kew. Lucy is operating the fly lowering mechanism and Panda, with Daddies assistance, is operating the fly trap, attempting to catch the fly.

This is intense stuff as Lucy and Panda play cat and mouse, or indeed fly and trap.

The two friends are having a great time.

Sand Pit

They emerge from exploring the Hideaway Home

Then it's a trip to the sand pit to dig for buried fossils

Firstly Lucy buries her little puppy in a mound sand

Then she attempts to shove sand up her jumper

Lucy and Mummy are in Kew Gardens. Lucy may appear like she is looking very demure wearing some brown lipstick but she is actually eating chocolate.

As she is happy to show anyone walking by.

Because it was raining, we decide to take a trip on the Kew Explorer Tour which takes us right round the whole of Kew with a running commentary.

It's never too rainy to have a swing.

It's so hot in Kew Gardens that Lucy needs to wear this rather fetching cap to keep cool.

Later on she drags Mummy to the adventure playground.

Lucy tries to scramble up this deceptively steep slope.

Then it is back home for a refreshing dip in the pool with Aunty Pink

Daddy and Marcus try to ignore the altercation going on above their heads.

Lucy obviously needs a few more modeling lessons since she seems to be channelling both "cheeky" and "monkey"

Mummy and Lucy have a swing together.

Lucy finds out how insects gather pollen to make honey. Or bee poo as Daddy calls it.

And then down other slide. Weeeeee.
