Lucy's first chance to see her classroom at school

What a thrill. Today Lucy is getting her first chance to see her class room in preparation for starting school next week. The kids have to go in their brand new school uniforms so Mummy lays it out on the bed ready. Lucy is really excited.

She gets dressed and puts on her long school socks for the first time. Not sure that they are meant to go up quite that high.

Always a good idea to have a hearty breakfast before a big day.

And a bit of fruit to give her plenty of energy.

Lucy is proud to be able to use her new "rocksack" for the first time.

Still pretty excited.

Waiting for the bus.

Obviously managed to grab the back seat on the bus.

Ignoring the school, Lucy heads straight for the adventure pwayground equipment. Just like Daddy did on his first day at St John's.

Garlic Supreme Leader

What is this high tech device that Lucy is using?

Hmmm. It seems to be some sort of high tech remote control. But what is Lucy controlling?

My word - she has taken control of a Garlic (as she calls them).

Could Lucy be planning to use this evil extraterrestrial fiend to take over the universe?

No. She has to put it away because it is bath time.

Stonehenge

Lucy has come to visit Stonehenge since it is on the way to our holidays in Somerset.

Not sure she would have been so laid back if she had known that there were Cybermen and Daleks around

Not that "Super Gerb" Mummy couldn't hold her own against Skaro's finest

And we were also there on the day before the Doctor Who episode The Pandorica Opens was aired, so I guess we just missed our Gallifreyan friend.

But even without the good Doctor, it was great fun. Although Lucy some what undermined the Majesty and symbolism of the henge by saying "It looks like fishy fingers".

A Day at London Zoo

Mummy is taking Lucy to London Zoo for a day out. First thing is a trip on the Tube. Mummy asked Lucy what animals she would like to see at the Zoo. She said, "A frog, a kangaroo and a dinosaur".

When they arrive Lucy has a quick glass of orange to prepare her for the day.

This fine green camera will help Lucy record all her memories.

Lucy takes some snaps of the fish in the aquarium.

She is having a great time.

Then she gets to touch some of the exhibits in the hands on display.

Cheeky Monkey

Mummy and Lucy have a go on the Merry-go-Round

Then it is time for lunch. Egg and cress "sangwiches".

Time for a bit of bouncy castle action after lunch.

And of course a chance to get her face painted.

The parrots do not seem to have caught Lucy's imagination.

Will any wildlife get Lucy animated?

Of course, a hyper realistic faux lion and a lollypop.

Back on the train home and Lucy and her new Giraffe friend Carroty are getting a bit fatigued.

It has been a very long day.
