Bockett's Farm

Sisters and mothers. What a beautiful thing. Mummy and Aunty Niki before taking the little fellas to Sprogget's Farm.

Lucy and Jonathan check out the form before the Bockett's Farm pig race. Looks like the smart money is on Lester Piglet.

Lester romps to the front. There is no stopping that porker.

Since book makers have some trivial rule about pre teens not being allowed to gamble, Jonathan and Lucy have to celebrate their pig race triumph with a lovely lolly and a Ribena. In fairness, even if they had won pots of cash this is probably what they would have spent it on anyway.

Or a sandpit.

Frankfurters with Jonathan

Lucy and cousin Jonathan are playing before lunch.

Seeing his frankfurter as a microphone, Jonathan knocks out his famous Elvis impersonation

"Cook me Tender" etc..

Lucy is supplying backing vocals from behind. "I ain't nothing but a Hot Dog" etc.

Do we see a bit of copying going on?

Fair enough Jonathan, you win :-)

Seaside with Grandad Ray

Lucy is visiting Great Nanny and Grandad Ray at the seaside. Woody seems to be enjoying the story more than Lucy.

A quick move to the beach and Lucy is more in her element.

Let's build a sand castle.

But Lucy really comes alive when she finds the new swings at the pwayground near Great Nanny's house.

"Higher, Grandad, Higher!"

Posh Lunch

The whole family went for a posh lunch in Hampton on the day after Lucy's party. Fine wines, Belgian beer, excellent food - who could have wanted for more?

Lucy. All she wanted was to get home and have a yogurt.

"That's what I'm talking about"

Family

This could have been a beautiful family portrait if Lucy had been looking at the camera. But why was she distracted?

"Must escape with chocolate treats"

The Boys

Daddy, Al and Si grab a chance for a quick Three Amigo's photo opp. With her two God Fathers and Dad - Milly is of course in the middle.

Chocolate Hedgehog Cake

Mummy has made a (pseudo) chocolate hedgehog cake for Lucy's birthday. At first she has a tentative bite.

Yup. That works. Nom nom nom nom.

Holly is slightly more demure when it comes to scoffing chocolate hedgehogs.

Tom and Stanley

Great that Tom, Laura and Stanley could make it to the party.

Easter Egg Hunt

Mummy has organised an Easter Egg hunt for all the little kids at Lucy's party. She even hand made bunny ears for everyone. Jerome doesn't want to disturb his quiff so Solene wears his ears.

Lucy has found an egg.

Looks like Aunty Pink is trying to muscle in on the egg hunt by donning some ears and hiding behind Holly.

Jerome, Lucy and Holly tuck into the chocolate.

And here comes Milly to make sure she isn't missing out on the good stuff.

Lucy and Milly Chill

Lucy and Milly chill before everyone arrives for the Birthday party.

Boat Race 2010

Lucy has invited some friends round for a Boat Race party. Jonny is unimpressed by Stew's rabbit impression.

Pink is unimpressed as Grandma starts an anecdote. Oh the irony.

Any body language experts will be able to decipher how well it is going down with Grandad and Jonny.

Lucy tries to remind everyone that we are meant to be watching the race as Milly dresses Aunty Pink up in the entire contents of Lucy's dressing up box.

It's actually an improvement on what she was wearing when she arrived.

In order to keep discipline the more rowdy members of the audience are kept caged at the back of the room.

"I'll have ten quid each way on Roehampton University"

Si struggles to look cool while being forced to wear a blanket

As you would expect, Unkey Kev enters into the spirit.

Upsy Daisy and Grandad relax after the race. Turns out some toffs from Oxbridge won.

Grandma prepares to have a dance on the thames bank

Sue and Kev see the funny side

Pink tries to look serious. Fails.

Jessie

Mummy and Daddy seem to have played a blinder by getting Lucy her own Woody and Buzz. But in a textbook case of one up-man-ship - Aunty Pink and Uncle Stewby turn up with a Jessie suit from Toy Story 2. Lucy very much approves.

Who does she remind you of? The hat is a tiny bit small for Lucy. It fits Mummy fine though.

Birthday Presents

It's Lucy's birthday and we are having a quiet celebration since her main party is going to be at the weekend when family and Friends are visiting. Of course we still gave her a few little presents. She loves her new hair band, sun glasses and jewellery.

And a huge set of Meg and Mog books. (They are bonkers!)

This is not a problem for Lucy who loves her books to be Anglo/Polish witchcraft stories.

But in truth her favorite present was her own Woody and Buzz.

Three Years in Six Minutes

This is a little film showing Lucy growing from being a dot to a 3 year old girl.

Here it is on YouTube
