Train

Lucy is on the Whitton Express train on the way to see Pink and Stewby. She has brought her own first class seating using the booster seat that we will use for the taxi home.

She delivers a royal wave to the citizens of Richmond who may have lined the track to celebrate her passage.

Grandma tells a story

Another trip on the train. Grandma and Lucy wave to their adoring public.

Grandma asks Lucy if she would like to hear a short anecdote.

"No Grandma! No!"

"...blah blah blah...fish and chips in Robin's Hood bay ... blah blah blah... oooh and it was lovely...blah blah blah...bus pass...blah blah blah..."

When will it end!

P.S. only joking

Bridge with Grandad

There is a bridge over the miniature railway.

Grandad takes Lucy onto the bridge so she can see the train go by.

It's very exciting!

Train with Grandma

Part of the reason that Grandma and Grandad chose Belton House to meet up was because it had loads of fun stuff for Lucy to do. This included a miniature railway.

Grandma is going to have a trip with Lucy and Mummy.

Lucy spots that Grandma is there

As soon as Grandma turns her back Lucy sticks her tongue out. Cheeky monkey.

Everyone is having a lovely ride.

Lucy's First Train

Nana Moo played a blinder for Lucy's Christmas present. Being an adoring grand parent she spoilt Lucy with loads of stuff including some books and this adorable black dress with red shirt. But where she really excelled herself was with Lucy's first train set!

As you can see, Lucy is entranced as her little train goes round.

Whilst it isn't exactly Hornby it is all there. A steam train with coal tender and a passenger coach, a station and a level crossing. That's the basics covered. What could possibly go wrong?

Boot!

On the Train

Lucy is on the train going to London. She likes waving at trains as they go past so it is a nice change to be sitting inside one. Lucy looks a bit bored. Or perhaps she is looking our for the person who just Tangoed Aunty Pink.

Anyway she seems much happier now that she is playing with her parrott friend.

On the little Train

Holly, Ellen and Mummy have a wave from the little Duplo train. Lucy looks like she is more interested in her ice lolly.

Lucy could take some lessons from Holly on how to look at the camera.

Smiley Train

Still at Barnes Fair, Mummy and Aunty Pink decide to take Lucy on the Smiley Train.

Lucy is certainly being a smiley little girl.

Toot! Toot! Almost ready to go.

And they're off for a trip around the fair.
