The Smelly Sprout

Lucy is up at Grandma and Grandad's house in Yorkshire for Christmas. Grandma is reading Lucy one of her favorite and quite topical books The Smelly Sprout

Lucy loves books. And Grandma.

Some clips of Lucy and Panda

Some clips of Lucy from her second birthday party in April up until about June (when we got a new camera). The next film will be more of the same except in "HD". That is very important to a Panda. (The music is from The excellent Lush (hope they don't mind too much - but it fits so well)). To view a bigger and slightly higher quality version just right click on the picture and select "Watch on YouTube".

Bread and Butter Pudding

Mummy is teaching Lucy to cook. Today it is bread and butter pudding. Obviously using milk free butter for the little cow juice dodger.

The most important part is to ensure that the bread is well buttered.

Good spreading Lucy. Note the use of the kick step so she can reach the top.

Now a bit of mixing.

Finally top with bananas and raisins. After a little while in the cooker ("This is a job for your grown up helper because the over is hot hot hot") the pudding was gorgeous. Ironically Lucy didn't want any.

Sledging

Lucy is on the cricket pitch over the road with her bespoke sledge made up of a recycling bin and a cycle lock.

Could this Heath Robbinson device possibly work?

This is looking pretty promising

Yeah! I am the master of the Barnes tundra

Nuggling

Mummy and Lucy are nuggling under Mummy's favorite nug.

"Look at my carrot"!

Christmas Tree

Things are a bit quiet in the run up to Christmas. We had decided not to have a tree following the previous well documented calamity

But at the last minute we change out minds. Lucy is very happy that we have. We are keeping a close eye on Boo though.

Lucy has popped down to the coast to see Great Granny

Stickle Brick Mummy

Lucy tells Daddy that she wants to construct a statue of Mummy made out of Stickle Bricks.

Reluctantly Daddy agrees to assist

This is starting to shape up.

That is uncanny! Photo realistic. Well done Lucy.

Reindeer

Mummy is helping Lucy create some great Christmas art. Lucy is helping Mummy getting a subtle drop of pain on her hands.

Yes. That looks about right.

Mummy and Lucy press their painty hands down onto paper.

And with a little bit of cutting out - Mummy and Baby reindeer start our Christmas decorations with style and panache.

IT Instruction

What is going on here? Mummy appears to be teaching Lucy about something.

Mummy has determined that she is probably the best person in the family to commence Lucy's IT instruction

Perhaps wisely Mummy leaves Lucy to finish the web site redesign.

Smile Please

For some reason, whenever we ask Lucy to smile for the camera she pulls this odd face.

When we asked her to do it properly she responded in the only way she knows.

Red Faced

Lucy asks Stewby if she might have a small morsel more of ham. A reasonable request until you notice how much food is already piled up on her plate.

How can I possibly choose between these two bacon covered sausages?

Aha ha ha hah ha ha ha haaah

Aha ha ha hah ha ha ha haaah, Aha ha ha hah ha ha ha haaah!

How much do I like sausage rolls?

Quite content

Upsy Daisy

Aunty Pink has got Lucy an Upsy Daisy outfit.

Daddy has got her a light sabre. I'd love to see that episode of In the Night Garden.

Upsy Daisy with her Mummy and Daddy.

And anothergain.

Swinging in Whitton

They have set up a Victorian style swing in celebration of the Whitton Christmas lights being turned on.

Lucy starts of a little nervous

Confidence is picking up

She's soon into the swing of it.

And then a piggy back from Mummy to get home. What a treat.
