The Idle Hour

Out for a slap up Sunday roast with Mellon and Holly. It looks like Marcus is is quite hungry.

Legoland with Holly

I know what you are thinking, we must have taken Spork to Cape Canaveral in Florida in order for her to visit Nasa and see the Space Shuttle Orbiter and an Apollo Rocket. But no, it is actually Legoland in Winsor were we went with Mellon and Holly.

Little Friends

No wonder Lucy is giggling. She has gone down to the park with some of her little friends (l to r) Oscar, Holly (in the rather fine Parker - she could have got a roll in Quadrophenia), Oliver and the Sprockmeister.

Next it was down to the river to throw bread at the ducks. Ellen is helping Holly whilst Wig is helping her two, Oscar and Olly. Frankly Oscar is the only one who is really putting his back into it. While Mummy is taking photos Lucy is relying on Jelly Bear for moral support.

Get your strength up

Marcus cooked Mummy and Daddy a fine meal of Lasagne. But the Sprocket needs fuel as well so while Holly takes it easy on Marcus, Mummy gives Lucy a good feed.

As soon as Lucy is fueled up she is playing with all of Holly's toys. A favorite being this strange instrument. Daddy has spent twenty years trying to understand differenet types of technology but cannot make head nor take of this beast. However, Lucy seems to know just how it works. Or at least how to make it make the most amount of noise!

Ducks

We went to visit Mellon and they took us over to Lammas Park to see the ducks. Both Holly and Lucy took a keen interest in our feathered friends. Daddy and Marcus plied the ducks with bread to keep them performing.

Mummy decided to educate Lucy on the ways of the duck.

Marcus gave Holly some bread to throw the ducks. But she ate it instead.

The two proud Dads smile for the camera while Holly and Lucy have a chat.

Mellon came over for Sunday Lunch. Lucy and Holly always like getting together. And both babies love playing horsey on their Daddies.

Wig and Day

What a treat! Our good friends Wig and Damon with their adorable little sprouts Oscar (3 ish) and OJ (1 ish) came down from Lincolnshire to see the little Sprock. Of course the first thing Day had to do was restrain Oscar. He is full of beans.

Wig holds Lucy and checks out Damon's performance with OJ at the same time. It turns out that women can multi task.

Marcus and Ellen (Mellon) arrive. Marcus drinks beer and laughs at Ali and Lucy.

Ellen tries to lighten the mood but Holly is still taking things pretty seriously.

Actually Marcus whipped the pants off both Daddy and Damon but we didn't get any good photo's of that so here is another one of Dad beating Day.

Lazy Sunday

Mellon and Holly were over again this Sunday for a smashing lazy day. Nice Roast and a few beers (for me and Marcus) and glasses of water for Ellen and Ali :-(. Notice that the Table Tennis table is up for the first time this year. Marcus and I had a match. He won 2-0 2-0 2-1. He cheats by using skill and technique. The cheek! Perhaps he is peeking too early for the 2nd Barnes International Ping Pong Tournoment later this summer?

Despite how this looks - Marcus hadn't had two dinners.

Lucy and Muji needed a good sleep. Lucy decided not to bother with the Roast and opted for the more milk based option.

Holly ain't no dummy!

We figured out that Holly is exactly 7 months older than Lucy. It is a bit like having a time machine realizing what size Sprock will be in half a year or so.
