Sprokets Farm

Following the somewhat moist weather over the last couple of months we are fortunate to find a dry day to make our first visit to Lucy's favourite Bocketts Farm this year.

At the animal handling area Lucy gets to stroke a bunny

Lucy offers some of her goat friends a little snack

She finds it hilarious when they accept her dinner invitation. Not least because their beards are quite ticklish.

This picture is quite deceptive. Lucy was actually stroking his face. Not as it appears, lining him up for a karate chop. Or worse still, trying to induct the horse into a far right movement.

Howdy CowPokes

There is quite a lot of play on this steering wheel. And the clutch is a bit heavy. I think I prefer Mummy's car Lightnin 'da' Queen.

Lucy is chatting to one of her sheep friends

Most of the sheep are looking pretty indifferent

"Baa-ram-ewe! Baa-ram-ewe! To your breed, your fleece, your clan be true! Sheep be true! Baa-ram-ewe!". Incredulous sheep; "What - what did you say?"

Time for PIG RACE!

Looks like purple followed by blue triumphed in Piglympic Race.

Gah! Lucy had her money on the spotty Lellow pig

Still - a go down the big slide with Mummy seems to restore her spirits after her pork gambling calamity.

Always a good indication of a exciting and full day of fun on the farm. It is wise to get a good nights sleep so she can get up early to muck out the cats in the morning*

*chance would be a fine thing!
