Nature

Lucy has joined Mummy and Nana Moo at Woods Mill which is part of the Sussex Wildlife Trust. The first exercise is to find creatures that match the different colours in the egg box. Since there is no black and white section Panda is safe.

This exercise is to see the world from a birds perspective. Using this mirror to look up at the creatures in the branches of trees as a flying bird might.

Now the helper is pulling out some skulls to see what conclusions the kids can come to.

"That looks like a herbivore", volunteers Lucy. "Quite correct", says the surprised helper.

"Gottle of Gear"

Lucy discovers what it is like to be a badger. Badgers have worse eyesight than Mummy without her glasses on. Lucy thinks it's hilarious. It perhaps hasn't dawned on her that heredity suggests she will have badger vision later in life. She will be no stranger to SpecSavers.

Pond dipping to find interesting water creatures.
Last activity is making sculptures.
