Chips
Lucy loves an occasional visit to Tanya's Fish Bar on her way home from Rashadee's house. She is clearly not attracted by their modern and sophisticated web site. Rather it is their enticing "Bag of chips with ketchup" which keeps her coming back.

Hope it's Chips it's Chips
Excellent. Potatoes are vegetables so this huge plate of chips must count for at least 3 of Lucy "five a day"*.

And gastronomic experts the French eat lots mayonnaise so that must count as well.

Might be pushing my luck with this sausage though

* According to the chip hating NHS, potatoes are a vegetable, but they don't count towards your five a day. Mayonnaise does though (in Lucy's world).

Mummy Gets Her Chips
Lucy thinks that it is very funny to feed chips to Mummy.

Just to be sure she pushes it halfway down Mummies throat.

Hope it's chips it's chips
So what major food groups has Lucy been missing out on? Gah! She has still never sampled a chip (for American readers that means French Fries (for stupid Americans that means Freedom Fries)). Clearly we weren't going to spoil her first chip experience with some drab straight version. Only the best for our girl. Crinkle cut.

Obviously they were oven baked rather than deep fried to ensure they were healthy. And we served them with loads of peas. She left the peas. Of course.
