Lucy still thinks that the holiday home that we have stayed at with Aunty Lorna a couple of time is actually her house. Given the near Olympic sized swimming pool, I bet Lorna wishes it was her house as well. Star fish! After a couple of years of intensive swimming lessons (well, half an hour every Saturday morning) Lucy is perfectly capable of swimming all by herself. But Mummy keeps a close eye on the prospective RebeccaAdlington for just in case.
We are very lucky to be sharing Aunty Lorna's holiday cottage in Somerset and even luckier because it contains a 54ft swimming pool. Lorna has also provided Lucy with a cunning swimming vest to keep her safe. To start of with Lucy sticks to Mummy like a Limpet But soon enough she gets her confidence up and is swimming alone. She is splashing away like a little otter. Looks like we might have to make sure we have a pool for our next Holidays as well!
It's a lovely Summer day so Lucy is having a dip in her paddling pool. But Lucy doesn't just want to paddle in it. She want's to swim lengths. After all that excersice a BBQ is called for Two hands obviously equals two sasauges Shame there is only one mouth. Not that this is always a problem.
Lucy is in the paddling pool in the playground Even though it is only shallow Mummy is on hand to make sure that she doesn't get out of her depth. Lucy decides that going for a swim must involve getting her hair wet. That's better.
Mummy and Aunty Pink took the Sprocket swimming for the first time a couple of days ago. It wasn't 100% successful since the pool in Richmond was a little cold and it was full of loud children. So today Mum tried again and took her to a smaller quieter swimming baths in Putney. She loved it. Here is a photo of her in her very fetching teddy bear robe after her swim.
