It is a snowy day evening in Barnes. Perhaps Winter fun awaits in the morning. Indeed. Lucy has made a snowman. Of perhaps more accurately an albino snow E.T. Not sure this chap is going to be walking in the air. Still - it is better than next door's snow bolder. "Anyone fancy a snowball fight?"
That is a fare bit of snow on the ol' jalopy. That is easily 6 inches of snow during the night. And it is still there in the morning. What a treat for Lucy. Less so for the cats. The cricket pitch on Vine Road is Siberian. Already 12 snowmen.
Lucy is experiencing the joys of Siberian Shropshire. Thank goodness for her new duffel coat. Aunty Niki briefs Lucy and cousin Jonathan on the nature of Siberian ice. The two mini scientists examine the ice in great detail. Jonathan is quite keen. Lucy applauds his efforts but has cold hands. Rub rub.
Lucy gets to play in snow for the first time. She found this snowman on the cricket pitch. Mummy and Sprock both wrapped up warm to enjoy the snow. Obviously it was really interesting to be out in the funny white world. But Lucy like most one year olds likes to investigate new things with her hands. And then of course she likes to eat it. It was this that made us realise that she was ready to try ice lollies.
