Lucy Learns Biology

Mummy is helping Lucy to understand Human Biology. First they trace Lucy's body onto a big bit of paper so it is life size. Then they start adding pictures of the interesting stuff inside the body like kidneys and heart.

The second most interesting part to Lucy is the intestines

Because that is the home of poo

Then the girls stick the picture onto the kitchen wall so Lucy can compare herself to the inner workings. Here is my brain, and here is my bum!

Isn't the body an incredible thing. Good thing Lucy wasn't learning about feet.

Biology

Lucy has spotted something interesting in the garden. She is using her magnifying glass to see what it is. She has clearly inherited some of her Uncle Colin's interest in the natural world.

She uses her ruler to try and measure the size of the creature.

Looks like she needs to get in a bit closer to get an accurate measurement.

This is what she had spotted. It is a little spider. Lucy is no stranger to spiders. Neither is Mummy. Mummy looks more worried.
