Lucy shopping with Daddy

Mummy is away so Daddy takes Lucy shopping with Him to big Sainsbury's.

We are mainly buying salad and vegetables. Certainly not Yorkshire Puddings, mousse and fish fingers.

And Lucy's treat is NOT a Lindt chocolate rabbit. It is a golden carrot stick.

Afterwards they retire to the local Tofu Restaurant for a healthy snack.

Pyjamas

Sometime when Daddy gets Lucy up he doesn't insist that she gets dressed straight away

She loves slobbing around in her pyjamas

Nasa

You wait all your life for a Nasa T-Shirt and then 2 turn up on the same day! Luckily Lucy is happy to wear the spare.

Underwater Lucy

At Lucy's swimming club they have invited Bubbles Photography to take some photo's of the spogs underwater. We are very impressed with the results. Enjoy!

Physics Lesson - Ice and Salt

Mummy and Lucy are having one of their regular science experiments. Lucy has noticed that folks put salt down when it is icy and asks Mummy why.

Mummy has the Ice and Saxo out in the blink of an eye so she can demonstrate to Lucy how salt can reduce the freezing point of Ice. She gets Lucy to add salt to one glass of Ice whilst the other one is a control.

After a couple of minutes it is clear that ice with the salt added is melting and the pure ice is not.

That is a pretty conclusive science experiment. Theory proven!

Lucy speculates that if she adds some salt to Mummy she might not have to wear her hat inside to keep warm.

Snowy

It is a snowy day evening in Barnes. Perhaps Winter fun awaits in the morning.

Indeed. Lucy has made a snowman. Of perhaps more accurately an albino snow E.T.

Not sure this chap is going to be walking in the air.

Still - it is better than next door's snow bolder.

"Anyone fancy a snowball fight?"

Wee Wii Fit

Lucy is having her first go on the Wii Fit.

She has really mastered the step exercises

Now she is trying a bit of Yoga

She has done very well.

We don't tell her she is the first person to ever try that exercise on our Wii sho her first place position may be a bit exaggerated. Having said that - probably not. Daddy is not famous for his Yoga skillz.

She does particularly well at the lying down and smiling game.

Washer Woman

Lucy has obviously got some of her Grandma's genes.

She has volunteered to do the washing up.

She is being very thorough cleaning out her special water bottle.

Yup - I think that should just about do it.

Good job she has her step so she can reach the sink.

Sleeping Beauty

Lucy is having a nice sleep. She decides to borrow Annabel's bonnet.

Lucy hasn't quite got the hang of table football.

Lorna's Party Tea

It's Lorna's 21st Birthday again and she has layed on a mighty spread for her guests. Lucy loves Parma Ham.

In fact Lucy loves all of it.

Pirate Ship

Lucy presents her completed Pirate Ship. She needs a photo because it is "Show and Tell" tomorrow and she wants to take in a picture of the magnificent galleon.

She also wants Daddy in the shot because he helped with some of the trivial details like the sails and the rigging.

After a while Lucy loses a bit of focus on the photo opportunity

She decides to join the crew in having a lie down.
