Lincolnshire Avaition Heritage Centre

Lucy loves aeroplanes. So she persuaded Mummy, Daddy and Uncle Si to take her to the Aviation Heritage centre in East Kirkby. It is one of the few places that you can see a working Avro Lancaster.

Up close with the mighty bird of prey.

There were other planes there as well doing flybys and landings.

Not surprisingly the most impressive was the Spitfire which flew an classic display and was then joined by a Hurricane for mock dog fighting.

Lucy has a great time wandering around looking at everything

And of course having a lolly

Daddy helps Lucy to understand some of the subtle nuances of flight dynamics

Uncle Si just smiles
