Lucy in the Library

I'm sure that Aunty Tiss the Librarian type person would approve of Ali taking Sprock down to the Library once a week for "Rhymes". This is where little nippers get their first introduction to Nursery Rhymes. These two lovely ladies read out the rhymes and stories to enchant the imaginations and spark the creativity of these little treasures.

Well, apart from Lucy who looks like she is miles away! Probably thinking about Chaucer.

You are dead right ... Aunty Tiss the Librarian type person thoroughly approves!

After she has pondered the delights of Chaucer, Lucy is also probably reflecting on the wealth of resources made available to every citizen by the fantastic public library system ... not least their wonderful electronic resources - like encyclopaedias, impressive dictionaries, magazines and music - that can be used free from home by anyone with a library card.

... or she may just be thinking about her tea!
