Slow Motion

We're in Ask Pizza by Barnes Pond killing time until our Dalek Bread starters arrive.

Lucy and Daddy are having a laugh together

One of Lucy's favorite new games is the slow motion game. She stars by giving Daddy a shove

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggghhhh ......

......rrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh

Barnes Pond is very nice

Olympic bike race down our house

Who is this character?

Why it is the famous cycling enthusiast Lucy awaiting the riders in the Olympic bike race coming out of Richmond Park and swinging onto Upper Richmond Road opposite Vine Road

Showing how great the atmosphere was - before cyclists get here a police biker rides down the crowd high fiving everyone.

Then suddenly the pack races past in one impressive blur

And with that - they are gone - only to be followed by a swath of BMW support vehicles.

Olympics Opening Ceremony

Daddy is away doing some work stuff in New York. So Lucy and Mummy decide that they are going to have a party together to celebrate the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Obviously this starts with a bit of TeamGB face paint.
Lucy takes up the prime position and starts swilling down her bottle of celebration Shloer
Mummy and Lucy are having a rather fine time watching the opening ceremony
As we get to the early hours of the morning Lucy adopts a Nug to keep her warm

Lucy is of course accompanied by Panda and Mandiville
What an excellent treat.

Palewell

Palewell Playground is just round the corner from us - on the way to Richmond Park. But you do need to know it is there - you wouldn't chance upon it. (Palewell Location)
As you can see - it has a little swimming pool

Lucy gets a little chilly!

Lucy is using one of Mummy's Crocs as a floatation device
This is pretty much the only acceptable use of Crocs.

Presumably because the Bank Of England has a sports club just round the corner - the playground also has a bank. Lucy is open for business.

After an afternoon of swimming and high finance Lucy has a bit of rest and relaxation

Posh Dress

It's not really a new dress - Ali wore this when she was a little one. It was worth saving though - it fits Lucy like a glove. Unlike the high heeled shoes!

Jack and the Beanstalk

Lucy is already familiar with treading the boards having delivered her "A Cow" in the school nativity play at Christmas. But now she moves up to a starring roll as "The Giant" in Oak Classes "Jack and the Beanstalk" at Lowther School. Much like the cow role - she is rather milking it.
Here is the link if you want to go straight to YouTube: Lucy School Play Video

Ummmm

Not sure where to start with this.

You hum it ...

After Barnes Fare we go back to Barry and Kelley's for a bit of chili and rice. What could be better than to be serenaded by Lucy?

"It's a one for the money..."

Eyethangewe. Don't forget to tip your waitress. Try the veal. etc.

Barnes Fare 2012

Mummy and Lucy are looking for Jewellery Jewellery at Barnes Fare

Lucy checks out Mummy's ring but is clearly more concerned about keeping hold of her popcorn

Aunty Lorna has got a monster ring.

"And do you know - can I have one?". No.

Mummy pops Donk on the carousel

Yeeeeeee har

Ride 'em CowDonk

Can we start now?

Mummy and Lucy have found a tent where you can create crowns from flowers.

Mummy does most of the twisting whilst Lucy does the cutting

The beautiful end result (it did look better on Lucy but she got bored of wearing it)

Four Eyes

Once more Lucy is unknowingly showing a (ahem) vision of her future by trying on Dad's old glasses

Peek-a-Boo

What?
