Baseball Hat

Lucy is in a very sporty mood with her baseball cap, running water and Sport Aid sweat band.

While the running water and baseball cap have obvious purposes - what can be done with the sweatband?

Yay! Shut up Aunty Pink! There is obviously heavy demand for what Lucy has christened the "Pink Anecdote Muzzel" - to get you own visit http://www.shut-up-pink.com/ or http://will-it-ever-stop.com/. Otherwise a sock (Knitted - not physical) will normally do the trick.

Feeding the Ducks

Where are the ducks at?

Lucy throws a bit of bread in the hopes of tempting some ducks.

It works! Duck are all over the Place.

Wakehurst with Grandad Ray

Lucy and Grandad Ray are at Wakehurst Place

It's beautiful

Lucy gives Grandad Ray a piggy back ride (not really :-)

Lucy points out places of particular botanical interest

This is a really scrummy apple. Nom Nom Nom.

Mummy's Music

What's on your iPod Mummy?

This should be interesting

You have got to be kidding me! Abba! Welsh Techno! Rick Astley?

Where is the Marillion? And The Sisters of Mercy? And Sideburner? And Crazy Uncle? Oh Mummy!

Eating Pizza

Lucy is so proud of the Pizza that she has made

She cuts it into triangles like a professional

Hmmm. It taste so ... interesting

Have you still go that number for Dominos Mummy?

Making Pizza

Lucy is making an Easy Peasy Pizza.

First thing is to add some tomato sauce to the Pizza base

Maybe some nice red peppers

Then some ham

And controversially - some more tomato

Manicure

In later life, ladies (and some men) love the pampering exprience of a manicure. Whilst understanding that having her nails clipped makes her more pretty, Lucy has still not fully bought into the idea, so hoof clipping is currently accompanied by a bottle of milk and a film on the Tele. Does the trick quite nicely.

Dinner at Chez Whitton

Pink and Stewby are quite rightly impressed with their new dinning table. Scoffing a plate of food on your knee is fine normally but on special occasions, like when your favorite niece is visiting, it is nice to be a bit more formal.

At first Lucy is a bit tentative.

Then she realizes that she has been given a grown up fork. Yum Yum, Stewby's Shepard's Pie (Lucy version without the creamy mash) is a triumph.

Then she gets to play with that odd dog. There is such a thin line between beloved family treasure and a yellow block of wood with 4 loosely attached legs. Lucy must be a Porter girl because she appears far more charitably disposed to it than her cynical father.

Bounce

Aunty Lorna got Lucy a proper trampoline for Christmas. There is a some what inevitable sequence to events. Bounce Bounce Bounce.

Wiiiiiiiii.

Bonk. Don't think this is negative though. She absolutely loves it and always goes down laughing.

Scrooge McSponk

Aunty Pink has given Lucy this Snowman money box. She puts all her coin collection in it.

Then she empties it out again.

Then she puts her loot back in. Normally accompanied by strident requests for "More Monies pwease". She is her Mummies daughter ;-)

Climbers Creepers

Lucy checks on the availability of the snail in Kew Gardens's Climbers Creepers

Yay!

This snail is almost as fast as Mummy's car
