Telescope

Lucy is something of an expert when it comes to telescopes. Although her experience has normally been limited to a toilet roll tube.

She certainly soon gets the hang of it.

It is amazing seeing the ceiling so close up. Perhaps next time she can stand on a box and look out of the hide.

Wetlands

Mummy has taken Lucy to the London Wetlands Centre. Here she is in this hide observing nature.

Time for a quick sit down outside the hide.

Lucy is chatting away to the ducks.

Can I get chips with that?

The Dentists!

Lucy's first trip to the dentist. She looks a bit apprehensive at first.

But she needn't have worried. The dentist is lovely and all he does is count her teeth and then give her a big sticker of the cat from Shrek. Lucy has 16 teeth.

In Tents

All kids love tents. Lucy and Mummy sit demurely in it, which is quite hard to achieve in a tent that looks like a cow.

Lucy is rather less demure with Daddy.

Lucy Fans

Aunty Pink is well known for loving having Lucy sitting on her lap.

It is rather more unusual to see the child phobic Aunty Tiss giving her a cuddle.

Aunty Tissy

Aunty Tiss and her friend Diane are visiting. Aunty Tissy takes a photo of her favorite niece.

Lucy is very impressed. Aunty Tiss brought her some Play-Doh. She likes making slugs. As you can see there was one tub of green and one tub of orange. Now there is one ball of brown!

Marcus

Holly and Lucy demand to be entertained.

Marcus succeeds in entertaining the little ladies.

Marcus needs a break so he persuades the girls to look for fairies down the bottom of the garden.

Suckers!

To the victor the prize.

Lucy and Holly

Holly and Lucy are playing in the sand pit.

Aunty Pink and Ellen enjoy the sun.

Holly fills up a mould to make a sand castle.

Holly is rather enjoying herself.

And so is Lucy for that matter.

Sand Pit

Lucy is showing Aunty Pink how to build sand castles.

"And then you use your spade to put sand in the bucket"

Red Suit

Even though it is a fine day, Lucy insists on wearing her red waterproof suit and ladybird welly boots. It makes her look like she is about to inspect a nuclear reactor.

Not that you eat ice lollies whilst doing inspections.

Lucy and Barney decide to inspect the front garden instead.

That fringe is looking a bit suspect!

Better go and chase Barney.

Wells-Next-The-Sea

Mummy, Daddy, Lucy and Aunty Lorna walk down past the picturesque Wells Harbour to the beach.

Lucy can't wait to start building with her new bucket and spade.

It is astonishing how few people are on the beach on such a lovely day. Wells is obviously a well kept secret.

Lucy fills up her bucket ready to turn out another sand castle.

Daddy can't resist getting in on the action.

Scooter

Mummy has got lucky Lucy her first scooter. Queen of the road.

Mushy Peas

Mummy, Daddy, Lucy and Aunty Lorna are at Wells-Next-The-Sea.

Everyone knows that fish and chips taste far better at the seaside.

Lucy decides that she is going to try some of Daddy's mushy peas, a delicacy she has previously been denied by her marrowfat pea hating Mummy.

So, what do we think?

After consideration, "Mushy Peas are very yummy". A taste sensation.

Knife and Fork

Since Lucy is a big girl now she has progressed from eating out of little bowls and using soft spoons.

She now has a proper Peppa Pig plate and grown up knife and fork. "Knifes a bit sharp" says Lucy.

Evening in Norfolk

The holiday cottage we stayed at in Norfolk had a beautiful riverside garden.

After putting Lucy to bed Mummy and Lorna enjoy a glass of wine by the river.

Not such a bad view.

And a pretty spectacular sunset.
