Lazy Aunty Pink gets a 2 year old child to push her round on a roundabout. Fortunately Pink relents and gives Lucy a turn.

Sunday Dinner
Sunday dinner over at chez Porter and Lucy has a fine chicken roast with Mummy and Daddy. Broccoli, sprouts, roast potatoes and parsnip, carrot and free range organic chicken. Of course she ignores the rest and munches chipolatas.
"More sausages"!
"More sausages"!
Mummy Shoes
Lucy continues her fixation (quite common amongst kids) with adult shoes. Here she tries on Mummy's green shoes. Even given the preposterous side of Lucy's plates (size 7) she still has a bit of growing before these bad boys fit. Incidentally, the excellent elephant top was a gift from Mink and Doody.
Horse
Lucy is playing on the rocking horse in the park. When she gets on she makes "clip clop" noises. Does she love it?
Yes.
Yes.
Monkey
Lucy is at the top of the biggest scariest slide in the park. She sometimes holds onto the bar at the top before sliding down. But could she lift her own weight?
You better believe it! Monkey girl. Obviously she has been learning from King Louis in the Jungle Book.

Play Time
Kew Gardens has an awesome program for educating little ones. This area is called Climbers and Creepers.
It is an interactive indoor play area.
Here they can wiggle through tunnels like a field mouse and slide down a giant pitcher plant. Even though Lucy is quite bright she is still not quite 2 years old so the education side is secondary to her having a great time, but we are sure that some of the biology might rub off, especially since Mummy has a masters degree in Parrot Psychology (or as she calls it Parasitology).

The Palm House
Lucy has a walk round the Palm House.
Obviously she studies the notes to ensure that she knows all the Latin names of the plants.
This is hard work so Lucy treats herself to a drink of water

Kew Gardens
Mummy and Lucy are in Kew Gardens. The Palm House looks pretty impressive.
Lucy is very impressed by the statues. This is a bull.

See Saw with Aunty Pink
Aunty Pink is on the See Saw with Lucy. Initially there appears to be equilibrium.
But when they relax Aunty Pinks fat ass makes all the difference. Lucy is amused.

First front slide
Lucy has always gone down the slide by lying down on her front - as you can see here
But Aunty Pink has encouraged Lucy to slide down facing the front. Initially Pink helps her down.
But then she does it by herself. What a brave little girl.

Slide
Lucy is getting a bit more bold when it comes to the big slide in Vine Road park.
Right - I'm gonna slide down you.
I'll even swing above the top of the slide.
Then weeeeeeeee

Swing!
Whenever we go to the park, the first thing Lucy wants to do is go on the swing.
Probably because she absolutely loves it

Under Nug
Mummy and Lucy have a great new game. They both scramble under a big Nug with a night light.
Then they camp out like a couple of Brownies.
And then a little snack after camp.

Daddy's Birthday Balloons
It's Daddies birthday. Lucky Daddy got a lovely bunch of balloons from his Mum and Dad. Lucy think they are for her.
"Thank you Grandma and Grandad for my fine balloons" says Lucy.
Seeing the joy in Lucy's little face Daddy hasn't the heart to tell her that the balloons aren't hers. A precedent that is sure to be repeated!

Trolley
Lucy loves pushing our veggie trolley around the house. We don't mind that at all. In fact it is quite funny.
Less funny when we go to use those vegetables and find little Lucy sized bite holes in our peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms.

Barnes in the Snow
Mummy takes Lucy for a stroll in the snow.
Barnes Pond is almost completely frozen. Good job that Lucy's trike has 3 wheel drive (when being pushed by Mummy).
Lucy's duck hat is worth it's weight in this sort of weather. Not that it weighs much.
This snow saves us a fortune in ice pops
Ice Queen.

Snow
That is a fare bit of snow on the ol' jalopy.
That is easily 6 inches of snow during the night.
And it is still there in the morning. What a treat for Lucy. Less so for the cats.
The cricket pitch on Vine Road is Siberian. Already 12 snowmen.
