Helmet

Safety hats should always be worn when going for a walk in the park with Mummy.

I'm safe.

In fact, I'm off.

Swing!

Swing!

Swing!

The Idle Hour with Pink

Lucy munches some apple while Mickey pig edges himself into the photo.

Mummy tells a tall story. Lucy isn't buying it at all.

Mummy takes Lucy for a walk around the beer garden.

Good job she is on her reigns. She's gone bonkers!

Talking of bonkers. Aunty Pink is doing the carving for the Sunday Roast.

Now that is a plate of food to put in front of a one and a half year old kid. And she polished a good proportion of it off.

Lucy decides to eat a chicken drumstick. Does she love it?

Noooooooooo!

Great Grandad Don's 90th Birthday

It was Great Grandad Don's 90th birthday. Don needed 3 blows to get all the candles out!

Grandad comes over to have a word with Lucy.

Three Generations in one photo! Great Grandad Don with his daughter Marie. Nana Moo Marie is Mummy Ali's Mummy. And Ali is Lucy's Mummy.

All of Don's friends and family at the party.

And basically the same shot but with Daddy in.

Then just the close relatives.

At the end of the party Lucy and cousin Jonathan enjoy the empty hall to play with balloons.

Jonathan's grin says it all.

Barney's ongoing torment

Poor old Barney assumes that sitting on the garden chair in the back garden will keep him safe from Lucy. He was wrong.

For ages Lucy just called her victim Boo since that is the name she associated with cats but she has now started calling him Barbie. Close and strangely appropriate.

Big Slide

Brave Lucy has a go on the biggest slide in the play ground.

"I've survived"

See Saw with Mummy

Lucy and Mummy are on the see saw. Mummy is not wearing the optimal see saw skirt.

Mr Issac Newton would be most surprised to see Mummy and Lucy maintaining a level of equilibrium quite out of kilter with his theory of gravity. Lucy examines her shoes to see if they are more weighty than she had thought.

Ah! That will help with the physics homework.

Here is a little girl who loves spending time in the playground with her Mummy.

Lucy and Jerome

Lucy's suave French friend Jerome takes her for a spin round Kew Gardens. They decide to try each others rides. Jerome likes the red and black of Lucy's pram whilst Lucy is very jealous of Jerome's furry seat.

They sneak off for a private chat. You can see that Lucy is busting her best moves because her hair in pigtails. Although this may be more due to Mummy than Lucy.

Isabella Plantation

Lucy and Mummy have gone to enjoy the Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park. Lucy is particularly interested in seeing ducks.

Hmm. An initial survey of the pond is not particularly optimistic on the duck front.

But Lucy employs her best duck spotting skills.

Success! Lucy has a good ol' wave at the ducks. "Hello Ducks" she says.

After all that talking to the ducks Lucy need to squat down for a little rest.

Green Fingers

Mummy has decided to plant some more heather in the back garden. First thing up is to dig a nice big hole. Lucy's efforts seem to be more in the advisory capacity.

Lucy is something of a back seat driver when it comes to manual labour.

But she is there to help clearing up while Mummy gives the heather a good drink.

Park

A morning in the park with Mummy and Daddy and first things first, time to have a little ride on the rocking horse.

Then a quick game of noughts and crosses on the giant board.

Daddy helps Lucy with a go on one of the big swings.

On the way home Lucy doesn't really want to ride on her trike.

It's much better fun having a shoulder ride :-)

Another first - Fish Fingers

How exciting. Lucy got to try fish fingers for the first time today. And her verdict? A resounding "Yum Yum". She managed to pack away 4 of them. She must have hollow legs.

Picnic Tea in Gabriel's Wharf

Yum yum. Tuna Pasta with cherry tomatoes.

Lolly

No day out could ever be complete without a Lolly.

Aunty Pink notices the camera.

Lucy loves lollies.
