Supper with Mummy

Lucy slurps down a little supper with her Mummy.

All this milk is certainly making her legs grow.

Self Service

Mummy and Daddy have a tradition of talking pictures of themselves by holding the camera at arms length. Daddy decides to try it with Lucy. She initially appears a bit confused.

Then she get the idea.

Then she decides she wants to shove Daddy out of the picture so she can hog the limelight.

Security

Lucy pops over to Daddy and asks if he has any milk. Unfortunately he doesn't have any.

Incandescent with rage Lucy tries to bust out of the living room in a hunt for milk.

Fortunately Mummy is coming up the stairs with the sacred milk.

Mummy has succeeded in calming Lucy's milk lust.

That's better.

Lolly

Yummy Yummy. Lucy has a lolly.

Lucy loves Lollys.

This is the face of a little girl who really enjoyed her lolly.

Nanny

Lucy pops down to the coast to visit Nanny. She is a bit hot after the journey so she needs a bottle of water.

Then she sets about learning a bit of palm reading.

In the Beer Garden

Rather than letting Lucy watch In the Night Garden before bed, we have stopped off at a pub for a refreshing half of shandy on the way home from the child minders.

Lucy wastes no time before sprinting off to play in the beer garden.

She is being a bit wriggly so it is difficult to get a family portrait.

In the end the only way to get her to settle is to bribe her with a banana.

And then she pulls quite a funny face.

Glass of Water

Mummy has just come back from a run and is a bit hot so she is looking forward a big glass of water.

Rather unhelpfully Lucy decides to shove her hand in the glass!

She doesn't seem particularly contrite as she makes a grab for the camera.

Boots

Lucy tries on her first pair of welly boots. For once she can't wait until it rains next.

Dressed by Dad

Apparently pastel orange and pink don't go together. Mummy was very critical of Daddies colour coordination. I think she has been watching too much "What not to wear".

Lucy doesn't seem too bothered.

I think she looks cute. But what do I know :-/

BBQ

Having a BBQ and Lucy has a chicken wing.

She manages to cover herself in sauce and also smear a bit on her Mum.

You would have thought that she would not be able to make as much mess with a tomato.

But you would be wrong. Lucy is perfectly capable covering herself in pretty much any foodstuff.

Fairy Dress

Look what happens when Daddy leaves Mummy and Aunty Pink alone with Lucy for five minutes. They dress her up like a meringue!

In fairness Lucy did seem to enjoy wearing it.

Mummy gives the little fairy her milk whilst enjoying a small glass of Pimms herself.

Smiley Train

Still at Barnes Fair, Mummy and Aunty Pink decide to take Lucy on the Smiley Train.

Lucy is certainly being a smiley little girl.

Toot! Toot! Almost ready to go.

And they're off for a trip around the fair.

Taking the Reins

To prevent Lucy scurrying off as we were walking around Barnes Fair we have bought her a set of reins.

Aunty Pink was acting as the chief Spork wrangler.

Lucy really didn't seem to mind . I think we are onto a winner.

Barney's ongoing torment

Barney's tactic of hiding in plain sight suffers a setback.

But his old hiding place isn't much better!

Barney's ongoing torment

Lucy spots the long suffering Barney. Is she going to torment him again?

Or is Barney too clever for her having found a smart hiding place under under the TV?

Barney too clever? I think not. Lucy has found him.

Daddy's Girl

Sometimes pictures don't need comments. Unless you wanted to comment on Daddy's near mohican.

Down the Park

Down to the park and Daddy helps Lucy splash in the pool.

It also enables her to clean her stick.

She has to wear her floppy pink hat because it is so lovely and sunny.

No trip to the park would be complete without a go on the swings.

Weeeee!
