Mum's night off

Mummy and friends from the NCT classes get a well deserved night out without the babies.

Angelina Ballerina

As has been previously documented Lucy has not been a big fan of every item of clothing we have provided her, so well done to Aunty Sue and Uncky Kev for hitting on such a winner with her Angelina Ballerina furry coat.

As you can see she loves wearing it, and even when she isn't wearing it she loves playing with it like it is a soft toy. Bonus.

Sunday Lunch

Whilst having Sunday Lunch with the clan in Leeds, Lucy looks angelic, abet slightly grubby faced, with her Grandma.

She looks slightly more like a cheeky monkey when she is playing with Grandad.

Mummy and Daddy soon wipe the smile off her face.

Lucy and Uncky Kev

Being a good Yorkshire man, who better to explain the virtues of real ale to Lucy than Uncky Kev. Obviously those pints are for Kev and Grandad and not Sprock! Yorkshire cousin Jonny looks on approvingly.

Cause and Effect

Grandads know very well that babies love to be held upside down.

Babies know very well that Grandads love to have a biff on the beak.

Hello Humpty

Aunty Sue and Aunty Tiss let Lucy play with her cousin Jonny's Humpty Dumpty. She loved it.

Lucy gets Cross

Lucy loves grabbing peoples necklaces. In this case she zeros in on Grandma's cross.

Here's one for you ...

"Hey Grandma, my dog has no nose..."

"Oh really? How does he smell?"

"Bloody awful!"

Early Christmas Visitor

Lucy's Grandad may have a passing resemblance to a certain gentleman who traditionally makes an appearance later in December. Lucy gets a sneak preview. Ho Ho Ho.

Good Gear

Regular readers of Lucy's web log will by now be quite familiar with her fondness for a bottle of the white stuff.

Yum yum yum. This is some good gear.

Pink and Stew

Aunty Pink and Uncle Stew came over to see the Sprock. Lucy was so grateful she bought Pink a Novel by Kerry Katona. Clearly it was a joke present but Pink got her revenge by reading it to her.

Stew then had a go at feeding Lucy. He did a champion job.

Seems like a bit of role reversal as Lucy tickles Stewbie under the chin.

Look no hands!

Notice that Sprock is now holding her milk bottle with absolutely no assistance from Daddy. Granted you can probably also see that at this angle she cannot get any milk out of the bottle, but we are even closer to self service.

Barney Baiting

Lucy loves her furry bothers Barney and Boo. They are somewhat more suspicious of their enthusiastic and grabby sister. Barney is especially jumpy but he knows that she cannot reach him if he sits on the arm of the chair.

Of course this wasn't factoring in the fact that Mummy is helping Lucy doing her standing practice.

Hello Barney!

Space Suit

Lucy inherited this colorful padded moon suit from her cousin Jonathan. On the positive side it is extremely warm and so was very useful in the cold snap we have just had.

However, even though the Sprocket is making the best of it, she doesn't really like it. Mainly because it makes here look like a gay astronaut.

Sympathy

Oh dear. Mummy has eaten a dodgy prawn and isn't feeling very well. Lucy is still working on her sympathy skills.

A full day: Oscar, Lisa and the Rasafarian Pig

Lucy wakes up an a great mood and has a little laugh with Herberts Bear.

Then it is over to Cafe Nero for a Double Skinny Decafe Mocka Peppermint Latte with Lisa an Oscar.

Mummy has a go at holding Oscar and the Sprock at the same time. As these babies are growing up they are becoming a bit more of a hand/arm full.

Over at Aunty Pinks th Sporck tries on a rasta hat.

We all agree that it looks better on it's original owner.

Having said that, Lucy's stripy cardigan does look pretty good on Big Pig.

Don't ring me at work!

Gah! I've told you before Mummy, don't ring me at work!

Sitting up

Lucy looks much more grow up when she sits up on the sofa. Unfortunately she hasn't quite mastered sitting up yet so if we left her like this then she would soon keel over. She is nearly there though.

Prison

It might seem cruel to lock Lucy into her cage.

But she doesn't mind. The bars are great for helping her to practice standing up.

Going, going, gone

Mummy and Lucy are having a right laugh playing together.

Are those eyes looking a bit red? Is anyone starting to get a bit tired?

When the thumb goes into the mouth it is a good indication that the little baby is about to drop off for a snooze.

And not just the baby! They are both having an afternoon kip.
